🔗 Usage & Compatibility
Yes. The Dub Mixer is designed to be extremely versatile and adaptable, whether you’re working with:
– Traditional sound systems (amplifiers + passive speakers),
– Active systems with built-in crossovers (powered full-range or multi-band)
– Sound systems with separate amps per band (sub / bass / mid / top)
– Studio monitors, PA setups or any kind of Active Speaker (using the Master output)
– Hybrid DJ / live dub rigs ( For example
Yes, it features built-in RIAA preamps for PHONO inputs.
Yes, via AUX inputs. They are compatible with mic or line input levels and equipped with compression.
Yes, it is a fully standalone analog/digital hybrid unit – no computer required.
However, if you want to furter customize the product, you can plug it to a computer and enjoy the pleasure of tweaking the units to your needs and taste !
Yes, the FX send/return loop allows integration of external delays, reverbs, etc.
Yes, as long as the amplifier accepts line-level signals : Mostly any amplifier is compatible !
No, the system is designed for a very high signal-to-noise ratio.
In most cases, this type of noise is caused by improper gain staging in the audio chain.
For optimal results: increase the output level of the device placed before the Dub Mixer, and slightly lower the gain of the amplifier or unit after it.
This ensures a strong signal while avoiding unnecessary amplification of background noise further down the chain.
This usually means that the gain earlier in the chain is too low, and you’re compensating with too much volume at the amp or speaker.
✅ To fix this: raise the output level of the Dub Mixer (or the device before it), and turn down the gain of your amp or powered speakers.
Proper gain staging ensures a strong and clean signal, with no excessive hiss or unwanted noise.
This can happen if the selected input mode is not appropriate, or if the incoming level is too hot.
– Make sure you’re not using PHONO or MIC mode when feeding a LINE-level signal.
– Check that the CLIP indicator isn’t constantly lighting up.
– If needed, reduce the output level of the device feeding the unit, and compensate by slightly increasing the input and/or output gain on the unit.
With proper balance, you’ll avoid unwanted distortion while keeping your signal strong and clean.
🔌 Outputs & Routing
Yes, all our products has a mono mode that makes them compatible with your mono system without loosing any aspects of the sound !
For the DUB MIXER, multiple configurable modes are available, you can configure the output routing to match your system:
– Stereo L/R
– 2-way Stereo, 3 or 4-way mono split
– Master output + Separate Sub output
– Duplicate master outputs for multi-zone, recording or monitoring
For the 4U Preamp, you can have up to 5-way outputs, but you can also configure the outputs as follows 1-way (Master output) or 2-way, 3-way, 4-way.
Yes, using the Master output.
📦 Shipping & Support
For the dub mixer, the production has just started and we are shipping the pre-order first. So expect around 1 month delay. When all the pre-orders will be shipped, then the delay will be back to normal (7 – 15 days)
The 4U Preamp is in pre-order for now and the production is planned to begin in a few weeks. We plan to deliver before this summer.
You can track the progress of your order using you order number and email address, at this link : https://www.klementz.fr/en/order-tracking/
Yes, 2-year standard warranty on all our products.
You may be able to update your unit using an USB cable, to get more features or customize the unit to your needs !
💥DSP & Digital Features
Not at all. Our design uses high-resolution 32-bit audio processing with extremely low distortion. Combined with the High-End components offering 108 dB dynamic range and <−90 dB THD+N, your sound stays clean, detailed—and warmer than you’d expect thanks to analog-style processing blocks inside the DSP.
On the opposite, digital audio systems offer several key advantages over analog: they provide precise and repeatable control over EQ, filtering, crossover, and dynamics without introducing noise or component drift over time. With higher dynamic range and lower distortion, they preserve signal integrity even at extreme settings. Unlike analog circuits, digital processing allows for complex routing, delay alignment, phase correction, and custom presets, all within a compact, efficient format. Most importantly, digital consistency ensures what you hear is exactly what was intended, with total freedom to shape and adapt the sound to any system or environment.
Unlike analog gear, digital systems aren’t affected by mechanical wear like scratchy or crackling potentiometers, oxidized contacts, or component drift due to heat or age. Once the signal is in the digital domain, it’s immune to ground loop noise, hum, and interference, and all parameters (EQs, volumes, filters) are adjusted cleanly and precisely, without any added noise or signal degradation.
In short:
✅ No crackling pots
✅ No aging capacitors or resistors
✅ No tone loss over time
✅ More reliable performance gig after gig
You get clean control and total consistency, every time you power it on.
No. The analog input and output stages, combined with carefully designed internal processing (no harsh compression or limiter unless you want it), preserve natural dynamics and warmth, even with effects or filters applied.

– Resolution : 32-bit floating-point processing
– Sampling rate : 96kHz
– Total SNR (Analog In to Out): >105 dB A-weighted (practical system)
– Latency (end-to-end): Ultra-low, typically under 2 ms
Yes, you can reprogram the DSP blocks and :
• Adjust crossover points
• Switch between filter types (Butterworth, Linkwitz-Riley, etc.) (only on 4U)
• Customize slopes (12, 18, 24, 48 dB/oct) (only on 4U)
Yes, up to 4-way for the Dub Mixer and up to 5-way for the 4U Preamp
You can already customize and tweak the products to your needs and taste.
However, to ensure quality of the product, the product is not customizable further than what we have pre-tested (and can guarantee).
However, we are thinking about making the model open-source in the future or accept certain customizations requests depending on the context.
